Available in two sizes, the light is sleek in its design from the modern black metal base to the panes of clear acrylic projecting light. The light quickly and easily creates a welcoming mood to any room, whether spending the evening relaxing at home or hosting a dinner party with friends.

The Science Behind Lighting Design

Energizer considered two important lighting factors when designing this light: How much light output is needed (lumens)? What color does the light output need to be (correlated color temperature or CCT)? Energizer developed the Edge collection accent light with a light output of 400 lumens for the medium accent light, and 300 lumens for the small accent light, both of which can be dimmed to lower light output as needed to create the right amount of ambiance in a room. Energizer also included a CCT of 3200, which is on the warm to neutral side of the color spectrum. This light color is meant to help create ambiance vs. specific task lighting.
